Winter Vacation Camps
“Surviving Winter”
Thursday, December 22 – Feathered Features
Friday, December 23 – Mammalian Mammals
9:30am – 11:30am
For kids in grades K – 5th
When the air turns frigid and the frost settles on the windows, children fill with anticipation of winter vacation. Sign your K-5th grade child up for a morning of exploration and fill their free time with fun and learning. This year, we will be exploring the many ways birds and mammals survive the winter. Thursday we will be focused on learning about birds’ winter survival tactics and identification, while on Friday we will learn about the ways mammals adapt during the colder months. Come meet several of our wildlife ambassadors, play fun games, and take wintery hikes on our beautiful nature preserve. Dress to be outside.
