The Art of Nature Mark your calendars and attend Brukner Nature Center’s signature fundraising event, The Art of Nature, on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 4:30-7:30pm. This special evening, devoted to art and the environment, is a time to discover local artists inspired by nature, mingle with friends and family and show your support of our mission of wildlife conservation through education, preservation, and rehabilitation.
Come meet our featured artist, Mike Major, and discover his talent as you enjoy organic wines, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, an amazing dessert bar and unique silent auction items, showcasing local companies, wildlife encounters, eco-artists and the amazing (and often surprising!) talents of our staff and trustees! Admission is just $50/person and all proceeds support BNC's mission to promote the appreciation and understanding of wildlife conservation through preservation, education, and rehabilitation. Call us today to make sure your name is on the invitation list!

“We make a living by what we get, but we make
a life by what we give.” –Winston Churchill

Featured Artist: Mike Major Mike Major, local sculptor, grew up on a farm in Miami County not to far from Brukner Nature Center. He returned to Ohio after graduate work as Ohio's first Artist in Residence for the Ohio Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts and has enjoyed reconnecting to his home county through several recent sculpture projects. This year, Mike was honored with the task of creating a life-sized statue of Mr. Clayton Brukner which will be unveiled the night of the event and says this monument of Clayton Brukner is high on his list of favorite projects. "Mr. Brukner was a generous and inspiring man, setting an example for all of us through this wonderful legacy, Brukner Nature Center."
Please contact info@bruknernaturecenter.com for ticket information, to sponsor the event, or to donate an auction item. All proceeds support our wildlife programs.
