Featured Artist, Nadia Malarkey
Nadia Malarkey is a garden and land-
scape design professional who began
her practice in 1996. She specializes
in providing a personalized landscape
design, creating spaces that are architecturally dynamic, aesthetically pleasing and ecologically regenerative.
Nadia’s projects incorporate environmentally friendly practices to produce landscapes that enhance bio-diversity and biomass while enriching our experience of the changing seasons. Many of her gardens exem-plify how regenerative design, while addressing habitat fragmentation and climate change, can be elegant, uplifting and ever-evolving in many surprising ways.
“As a garden designer I strive to create for my clients beautiful and unique outside spaces that form natural extensions of their homes. My aim is to create gardens that embody the wishes of my clients, that nurture the soul and that contribute to ecological regeneration. I intend my gardens to be architecturally interesting, compelling in every season, and places of refuge where visitors experience beauty, harmony and well-being.”
