“Brukner Nature Center is a non-profit, privately funded organization promoting the appreciation and understanding of wildlife conservation through preservation, education, and rehabilitation."
We now have a convenient drop-box for admission, if you arrive before or after our normal hours to hike (see pricing to the left).
Please note, our Interpretive Building will be closed on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Our trails, however, will remain open from sunrise to sunset so gather family and friends and come out and hike the beautiful woodland trails!
No pets are allowed – they scare our wildlife!
Featured Nature Shop Item!
contains: raw honey, vanilla, and cinnamon
4 ounce jar: $6
8 ounce jar: $12
Teresa Peters, BNC volunteer, has created a delicious treat called vanilla cinnamon creamed honey! Creamed honey is 100% natural honey with no additives. Stays in its creamy consistency indefinitely if stored at room temperature (approximately 65°-70° F). May be refrigerated if you prefer the texture to be firm. If heated, it will return to it’s liquid state.
Common uses for creamed honey: as a spread on buttered toast, rolls, muffins, pancakes; added to a hot drink or cereal; used as a dip for nuts or apples or a glaze on meats
